HR Officer
We are looking for a new team member to join our HR Division in our Fortitude Valley office. Your main focus will be to assist the HR Team in providing timely, confidential and accurate HR services in line with the organisation's policies and current legislation.

Your focus will include:
Generalist Support:
Provide end to end HR support, including onboarding new employees, performance management and offboarding
Support project start up and mobilisation with all HR-related activities
Provide support to bidding and tendering activities
Assist with implementation and coordination of HR policies and procedures
Support key stakeholders with HR related queries
Provide advice in line with HR policies, procedures and relevant legislation
Manage processes related to role changes, remuneration and benefits, promotions, and related activities
Providing support in employee relations cases, including disciplinary and grievance issues
Administer and manage required HR related documentation such as employment letters, jury duty letters, etc
Participate in HR projects
Assist in the development of HR initiatives
Employee Records Management:
Process, verify and maintain personnel documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Manage documentation related to employment contracts, benefits, and other HR-related paperwork.
Payroll:
Address payroll-related questions or concerns from employees.
Follow up on overpayments in accordance with payroll procedure.
HR Reporting:
Generate and analyse HR reports to identify trends in line with HR metrics.
What you will bring to the team:
Tertiary education in human resources, business or related field or
Certificate or Diploma in a related field
2-3 years’ experience in a HR administrator position, preferably within construction industry or other heavy industry.
Demonstrated experience with MS Office suite.
Preferable experience with Successfactors.
Prior experience in performance management, case management and complex workplace investigations highly regarded.
High-level problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and develop solutions to meet business needs.
